I'm trying to cut LSDA keys using my HPC Blitz machine and Instacode points to CX58, but it's not accurate... so it seems. I tried to bump the depth up by +1. It's still no good. Has anyone figured out a proper card or any technique how to navigate through this problem?

I totally get what you're saying, cutting LSDA keys on the HPC Blitz with the CX58 card can be a bit of a gamble. Sometimes bumping the depth up by one helps, but it's not a guaranteed fix. You might want to consider using the CX59 card instead, a lot of people say it's more reliable for specific LSDA keys.

Also, don't forget to double-check your machine's calibration and ensure the blank is held securely to prevent any slipping. Have you had a chance to try swapping out cards or tweaking the calibration yet?

What card or depth settings have actually worked for you before with LSDA, could it be a variation in the key blank or machine calibration throwing things off?

I think youre better off using FX14 or manually tweaking the depths with a micrometer. If bumping it +1 didn't help, the spacing might be slightly off too. Are you using original LSDA blanks, or could they be aftermarket? That can make a difference.
