Running a locksmith shop

Last fall, I took over a struggling locksmith shop when the owner retired, his kids were ready to sell, but I asked to try saving it, there were no staff allowed, just me and the office manager. After raising rates, cutting costs, and taking on road calls myself, we turned a profit of $300 in March, then $6,000 in April. But now I'm burned out and the stress is getting heavy. Is this just part of running a small business? How do others push through?

Sometimes pushing through means stepping back just enough to breathe, delegate a little, even part time help, you see small business stress never fully goes away, but it's easier to carry when you're not carrying it alone

I hear you, and you're right, wearing every hat is killing my energy. Finding that one solid hire sounds like the lifeline I need, so I'm gonna start looking seriously now

Honestly, breaks have been almost nonexistent lately, which probably isn't helping. You're right about outsourcing, if I can free up even a few hours a week, it might help me recharge and focus better.
