I know not many people look at locksmith as a profession, but I'm not many people and I'm thinking about this. I'm asking those who've been through this journey. Where do I start? What do I need to do to turn this into a profession?

yep, depends on which state, you can get locksmith trainings and licenses. for an alternative, there are also online courses for this
